What is GPON fibre internet?
GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) delivers internet over fibre-optic cable directly to your home (FTTH). It is faster, more stable and more future-proof than wireless or copper connections.
Where is WISP GIGA Home Broadband available?
GPON services are now available in Skyview Estate and 2G Estate in Port Moresby, with more estates and compounds across Papua New Guinea coming soon. Sign up to register your interest for your estate.
How much does GIGA Home Broadband cost?
Plans start from PGK 149 per month for 100 Mbps, up to PGK 399 per month for 1 Gbps Premium FTTR 1+1. Installation is a one-off PGK 100.00.
What is FTTR?
FTTR (Fibre-to-the-Room) extends fibre inside your home to dedicated Wi-Fi units, giving gigabit-class Wi-Fi in multiple rooms. Premium FTTR 1+1 includes a main unit plus an additional room unit.
What is the contract term?
GIGA Home plans have a standard minimum service term of 24 months from activation.
How long does activation take?
Service is generally activated within 10 business days where infrastructure is readily available, subject to site and installation requirements.
